ConvrtX Bark Reviews

Bark.com is the website that many of ConvrtX' aggrieved clients first encountered ConvrtX. It is our understanding that Bark.com give ConvrtX leads when potential clients are looking for software development. To date, Bark.com have hidden multiple negative reviews from genuine clients of ConvrtX, but we will cover that in another post. This post will have a closer look at some of the positive reviews posted - the reviews that Bark.com have thus far refused to remove or take action over despite numerous reports. We noticed some strange similarities between reviews... let's have a look at what we mean by this. These are two separate reviews left on the same Bark page around 3 weeks apart:

Now is it just me, or this this just a little too similar? Maybe it's just a coincidence. Maybe Isabella and Pedro are a married couple and are both just so enthralled by their experience with ConvrtX that they just had to shout the same claims on Bark 3 weeks apart. There can't be any other similarities like this... right?

But wait... there's another two reviews with striking similarities, also posted around 3 weeks apart!?

OK, so this is getting weird. Is this another married couple who mirror each others sentences? What a bizarre coincidence. That's gotta be the end of it, right? Right? Another one!? Come on, this is getting weird.

Robert and William seem to echo the same sentiments as each other - word for word verbatim in this particular sentence. Is that common for such a specific kind of review? Hmm, ok, maybe if that's the only similarities then we can write it off as the strangest coincidences. What in the ever-loving F is this!?

Surely I'm not going insane... no two reviews would be this similar from different names? And there's surely not this many married couples with different surnames leaving word for word reviews at these kind of intervals? Is this considered normal on a review site? I am highly doubtful. OK, nope. This can't be a coincidence now.

Both these guys were advisors to a startup? The comprehensive/holistic support was really/particularly impressive? Said support is super uncommon/really unusual in the startup world/sector? Especially with incubators? They both wish more companies were as invested/committed to space as ConvrtX? Maybe I'm just completely ignorant to tech talk, but I don't even know what this is meant to mean. And also, I swear I saw something similar before? Where could that possibly have been?

Oh yeah...

This is an old review on TrustPilot which was eventually removed. Fun fact: James Fury loved ConvrtX so much that he once left two reviews that were entirely different back to back on the same day for ConvrtX! We'll cover that in our TrustPilot post at a later date. Let's see if you recognise one of the names below though...

James Fury seems to have a lot in common with other ConvrtX reviewers! James Erickson is a Bark review, whilst the above James Fury review is another old review that was eventually removed from TrustPilot. This is sure uncanny! I want to know where this bar is so I can get my hands on a lucky napkin! Now, just for fun, let's see how many times a ConvrtX reviewer has used the phrase "top-notch" recently...

Oof. These reviews are either some crazy coincidence; or you really need to hire a new review writer Josh. The sloppiness of these positive reviews have given me a right laugh. But in all seriousness - why does Bark.com allow this but they hide negative reviews at the behest of ConvrtX? I wonder if the allegation that Josh has paid ConvrtX a lot of money in the past and is in good standing with them, thus holds more power holds any truth to it? Or the allegation that Josh currently owes Bark.com a significant sum of money despite his past payments? Both allegations have been articulated by those who have worked for ConvrtX but wish to remain anonymous. When these questions were posed to Bark.com management, a Senior Manager responded without addressing these with an answer. All a bit suspicious, isn't it?

A Short Update

Well, it appears there has been no luck so far in de-indexing this website from Google despite attempts being made. We are much quieter...
