This post takes us back to July 2022 - the month that I first felt something really wasn't right about ConvrtX. I am still working on a full post to detail my full ordeal from beginning to end; honestly, I'd have an easier time writing a book.
So, back to July 2022. I was at loggerheads with Josh, ConvrtX, and their legal counsel Julius Clarke. I'd left negative reviews, and they were trying tooth and nail to get me to remove them. They resorted to a Cease and Desist being served on me electronically. What was interesting about the Cease and Desist, was that they 'cc'd' an Attorney firm from Montreal, Quebec. Here is what was on the pdf version of the Cease and Desist:
I've removed the email address of the firm as it is specific to one of their staff who formerly worked there. So, looking at this, it would appear that the firm mentioned in this Cease and Desist would have been sent a carbon copy since cc appears before their details. However, when I had a look at the copied in emails on the email this was sent within, it appears they had been missed off. When it was highlighted to Mr Clarke, he stated this was irrelevant. Well, not really when we are trying to ascertain if the cited Law Firm actually acts on behalf of Mr Adler, which was clearly the insinuation of the Cease and Desist.
Time passed, and if you have read previous posts here, you'll know I have had contact with a lot of victims. My plate has been overflowing with gathering as much evidence as I can.
After a very interesting phone call from Toronto Police this week, whereby I was told that Josh Adler had made a report that I was harassing him, I was incentivised to find out more. Something has clearly rattled him recently if he feels the need to file baseless and false reports about me - FYI when I told the Toronto Constable the full story, and the fact that there were multiple police reports in about Josh, they were quick to state that they would return Josh's phone call and advise they would not be pursuing this as it appears I've not partaken in any criminal activity.
Back to the finding out more... the solicitor thing had always stuck in the back of my head. Why didn't Julius properly copy them in? Why was it only typed on the pdf but no proof of sending? Maybe they were bcc'd? Well, I decided this week to find out.
So they've never heard of Julius, Josh, or ConvrtX?
