Imagine my surprise recently when I received a call from a 'no caller ID' claiming to be the Toronto Police following up on a claim of harassment made by none other than Mr Josh Adler. Let's start off by saying I was tickled pink and am in no way, shape, or form, concerned about the phone call. Though it did strike me as a strange coincidence that the call came 2 days after posting the revelant crime reference numbers on this website.
The Constable who phoned me kindly told me that Josh Adler has contacted my local police jurisdiction, and was advised to call his own local police force to make his complaint of harassment. The Constable warned me that Josh advised them that the case was civil and that he had a civil suit launched against me. I advised that I am unsure if any legitimate claims have been made against me - the legitimacy of anything sent to be has been in question for some time, as I have passed everything I have received on to Police Scotland. I do know that others have been served claims; I find it amusing that ConvrtX can't even provide a registered address; for a purported 'multi million dollar company', it's hilarious that the address given to clients appears to be a residential address registered to someone with the same surname as the ConvrtX Compliance Officer. It was even more amusing to discover that the phone number provided is listed against a Garage Door Company owned by said Compliance Officer. He must be the first person I've known of to be balancing a job providing legal assistance and also selling 'Garage Doors'. What a talented man! Anyway, I digress. The Constable went on to warn me that she could contact my local police force who could come to my address and warn me officially. At this point I asked her if she knew the whole story or if she was content to take Josh's word for it. All credit to her, she listened. I told her what I have posted on this website. I told her about the open police reports in her own province. I gave her officer names. I told her about my own police report, and the lengthy list of clients who claim to have been scammed. At this point, I believe she realised that things weren't as straightforward as Mr Adler tried to portray. She advised me that she would call him back and tell him that Toronto Police would not be pursuing this as it appears that no criminal activity has taken place. Well, certainly not on my end.
Josh, I know you read this. Or someone feeds it back to you. I'm getting bored of the extortion claims. To put it bluntly; you can shove the 33k (GBP) I paid you. You want to know what would happen if you refunded me? Nothing. Maybe I'd book a holiday or something. Maybe it would make up for my American vacation that you ruined last year. But ultimately; I don't care about a refund. That isn't why I am doing this. It would make no difference to my quality of life.
For me, this is about warning others.
You have my contact details Josh. You gave the correct number to the Constable. So you know where you can contact me if you actually wish to put this whole situation right. I've shown you again and again that I'm not unreasonable and I gave you so many chances. It knocks me sick that you've done this to so many startups. It is NOT about a refund, and it is NOT about extortion and harassment. You well know this. It's about me warning others about what you've done, and since you're showing no remorse, and made no attempts to remedy this with most of the clients I've spoken to, I've continued to do so.
Something you may not know about me Josh, is that I've got nothing to lose. The country I live in is pretty awesome. I live in social housing. I'll be entitled to legal aid if you try to start any frivolous claims against me. I have no assets. You may be able to silence others through fear of what they 'could' lose... but it won't work with me.
I'm not sure what you plan next. I'm curious to know if you'll ever follow through on your SwapD quote, 'Zorax' with regards to my business socials - I can see you did go ahead with "Help needed removing/ delisting Negative articles: They both have low DA from the same author and are over one month old. dm if you can help". It seems my article on your de-indexing two articles was pretty on the mark, as they were written before I found your SwapD account. Either way, I'm sure I'll get a heads up at some point. My followers have been pre-warned. As have the police, and the Deputy First Minister for Scotland who I recently had a one to one meeting with regarding next steps. We also have an MP looking to source specific journalists in the UK to bring light to what he described as a huge story.
