Is Josh/ConvrtX Trying To Hide Negative Articles Again?

I've wrote a blog post once before about articles relating to Josh Adler/ConvrtX getting de-indexed from Google listings. It would appear that history is repeating itself, as at present another has disappeared from Google, and I can see that another report has been put in to request removal of a second one, though it hasn't been actioned at time of posting this blog. As before, articles which negatively report on Josh Adler are disappearing from Google - this means when you search his name, the negative articles do not appear in the Google search list. How does this happen? Through DMCA reports. Essentially, there are reporting procedures in place to allow writers/journalists to protect their intellectual property. If someone's work is plagiarised, it can be reported and thus plagiarised work can be removed from Google's listings. How does this relate to Josh? Well, there are two articles I will identify: 1. An article posted by Weekly Blitz. 2. An article posted by LetMeExpose. Both discuss Josh and ConvrtX in a very negative light. Both articles reference me, Gemma Martin (LetMeExpose does not name me, but does link this website and refers to me as a victim). So, how exactly has this been done? As discussed in a previous blog post, Tumblr allows posts to be backdated, meaning that people can post content and put a previous date as the date of publication.

Screenshot of the backdating system as per the Tumblr website. Let's break the DMCA reports down a little so that hopefully anyone reading this can see exactly what I mean. Let's first look at the LetMeExpose article that was reported. The DMCA report is screenshotted below.

As you can see, this report was made by a Joshua Dickson who states that the original content was published on a Tumblr account. What is interesting about the Tumblr account is that it has only ever published two content pieces. Any guesses on what the second content piece is?

What are the chances!? Joshua Dickson makes a report about the LetMeExpose article, and Imran Karim makes a report about the Weekly Blitz article! But both original contents stem from the same Tumblr account!? How bizarre.

The Weekly Blitz article still stands on Google listings at the time of posting this blog, we only found the report by 'Imran Karim' as we ran a search of ConvrtX on Lumen. We don't know if it will be actioned upon.

So, is the above enough to make you wonder if there's something a little weird going on? Maybe you need a bit more to convince you that these reports are not authentic. Well; there's one more thing. Tumblr assigns post IDs within their URLs despite backdating status. These post IDs are assigned chronologically based on timing of posting (the real time, not backdated time). Let's look at the post IDs of the two 'original' articles on Tumblr.

The article which accuses 'Weekly Blitz' of copyright infringement regarding 'serious allegations against Josh Adler' was said to be posted on Tumblr on February 4th 2023. The article which accuses 'Let Me Expose' of copyright infringement shows a posting date of July 25th 2023. Let's look at their post IDs - Post made on '4th February 2023' - 731507346380128256 Post made on 'July 25th 2023' - 731407760367976448 How can a post made on 4th of February have a lower post ID than a post made on July 25th? It could if they had been backdated to give the illusion of being posted there first in order to make copyright infringement reports to remove authentic articles that portray you in a negative light. Josh, this is getting ridiculous now. Over 7 million CAD ConvrtX has taken from clients - be it for business plans, pitch decks, clickable prototypes, or software development. Yet, I can't find a single client that has received a fully working app that they are happy is what they agreed to. But I've spoken to plenty who feel entirely ripped off, scammed, and taken for a ride.

A Short Update

Well, it appears there has been no luck so far in de-indexing this website from Google despite attempts being made. We are much quieter...
